The Motion Pro Folding T-Handle Wrench with sockets is an awesome addition to your trail pack and makes trail maintenance a snap.  It is small and compact when the t-bar is slid down and it is folded up, yet still offers a ton of leverage once unfolded and deployed.  It comes with tough yet lightweight sockets in 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 13mm sizes.  The wrench and sockets all fit in a sturdy little bag that is just as quality as all of the goodies from the crew at Motion Pro.

There are some small yet thoughtful features to the wrench kit that make it even more of a necessary partner for my off-road adventures now.  The small ball-bearing detents on the T portion help keep it centered or slid all the way to one end or the other for more leverage.  You can still use it while folded as well to reach hard to get to bolts that don’t require too much leverage.  It is the perfect size: not too small to not have any leverage but not too large to be too bulky to want to carry.

The only way I would make the Motion Pro Folding T-Handle kit a better offering would be to ditch the 13mm socket for a 14mm.  Since I don’t ride an orange bike, I don’t really have a need for the 13mm, so I did just that and added a 14mm in its place to make the kit even better.  Perhaps Motion Pro was worried that the T-handle wouldn’t have enough leverage for a 14mm bolt, but so far in my experience it does.  At least I haven’t broken it yet!

The durability of the folding T-handle is awesome, since it is from Motion Pro.  Like I said, I haven’t broken it yet, and anyone who has seen me with tools can attest to the fact that I’m not very nice to them.  Even after being completely soaked in a rainstorm and left in their bag for weeks, none of the pieces of the kit rusted at all.  There was a tiny bit of orange rust stain where the T slides through the shaft, but it wiped right off and hasn’t shown any more signs of rusting since.  It comes with a one year warranty as well, but I don’t see having to use that unless I really try to break it on purpose.  I’m not even sure I could do that without the use of explosives or some other drastic measure.  For a relatively inexpensive price of $30.99, it is a relative bargain to me except for the useless 13mm, and should be for anyone who is looking for a compact and lightweight yet strong and sturdy T-handle for trail maintenance that will last forever.

The Motion Pro Folding T-Handle Wrench with Sockets has become a permanent part of my trail tool pack and a welcome addition in my off-adventures.  It is so easy to use and makes my maintenance time so much happier that I actually use it during normal garage work as well.  I would definitely recommend the Motion Pro Folding T-Handle to anyone looking for a trail T-handle that will stand up to whatever abuse you throw at it without abusing you with its girth the whole ride.
