My race at the Stockton Motorplex. It was a really fun Father’s Day race weekend!

All of my heat races went really good as I recorded 3-pole positions for my main races! I placed on the podium in all seven of my races! I scored two 1st place, three 2nd place, and two 3rd place finishes.

It was only my second time road racing my Honda CRF150R with 17” wheels. I was able to drop about 3 seconds a lap compared to the 12” setup I had been using. I finished with two 1st place finishes on my 150R so you could say I adjusted pretty well to the bigger tires!

In two of the seven main races I was in over the weekend, there were two crashes.

In one race, Anthony Alonzo high sided, but didn’t get back up quickly; he was laying there for a while. Later he said his head was hurting afterwards but he finished the rest of his races.

Then another race Vision Hayes crashed. It was a reversed direction course and as he came through a sweeper and tucked the front end. He almost saved it with his knee, but it happened so quickly he couldn’t keep it on two wheels.

It was a great Father’s Day and a fun weekend. Unfortunately, Jayson Uribe and Tucker Lancaster weren’t able to make it due to other commitments,  but it was good to see Vision Hayes back out on the track after his crash.

I would like to thank some of my sponsors that have really helped me out this year: My Mom & Dad, Arai Helmets, D&W Images, Fairfield Cycle Center, Oakley, Alpinestars, Leo Vince’ Exhaust systems, Fox Racing Shox, Motul, Galfer, Sunrise Signs, and all my other sponsors. I would also like to thank my Grandma and Grandpa for coming out and supporting me on Father’s Day!! Thanks to www.2wheeltimes.com.

See you at the next race…
