D36- Burkett Wins 62nd Annual Cowbell Enduro at Middle Creek

KTM-mounted Joel Burkett won the overall at the 62nd Annual Cowbell Enduro, round seven of the AMA District 36 MSR Nor Cal Championship Enduro Series hosted by the Hayward Motorcycle Club.

The riders were greeted with wet and sloppy conditions at the Middle Creek riding area near Upper Lake, California.



Burkett won his first ever overall district race by edging out Yamaha mounted Sean White in the final special test, using his home-field advantage to the fullest. The two riders battled all day in nasty conditions and put on a great race. ISDE silver medalist White held on for second overall, with Ron Day edging Jeff Bauer for the final podium spot!
